Result announcements will be placed in the mail to applicants the first week of November. .

CHC Foundation’s mission is to provide grants to publicly supported, tax-exempt, non-profit organizations in the greater Easter Idaho region. CHC Foundation gives priority to innovative and enriching projects which serve the public interest and well-being and significantly improve the quality of life of the people of the region. There are two granting sessions each year, in the spring and fall.

What are the qualifications to receive support?

Must be a Non-Profit organization, Sec. 501(c) (3) or Political Subdivision of State of Idaho, Sec. 170(c).

Must be located within the CHC Foundation service area.

Must be for purchase of a fixed material asset, not for operating expenses or consumable items. Purchases made prior to award of grant cannot be considered.

Where it all started...

CHC Foundation is an independent philanthropic private foundation located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and was created in 1985. CHC Foundation roots are the Sacred Heart Hospital, which was established in 1941 by the Franciscan Order of Perpetual Adoration, and which in later years became Community Hospital of Idaho Falls and Parkview Hospital.

CHC Foundation is not affiliated or associated with any other corporation or organization. CHC Foundation is managed by an 11-person Board of Directors. CHC Foundation is incorporated in Idaho and is subject to the rules and regulations of the State of Idaho. CHC Foundation is recognized as an IRS 501(c)(3) organization. Annual reports of CHC Foundation activities are submitted to the Internal Revenue Service.
