Jeffrey Keller

Jeffrey was born at the old Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls in 1955 and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1974.

He practiced the first part of his career as an Emergency Physician at EIRMC. He was the Medical Director of the Idaho Falls paramedics for 25 years, as well as many rural volunteer ambulance services. He was also the first Medical Director of Air Idaho Rescue.

The last 24 years of his career were spent providing medical care for people incarcerated in jails and prisons. He and his wife, Angela, founded a company, Badger Medical, that, at its peak, provided medical care to people incarcerated in 17 Idaho jails and juvenile facilities.

For five years, he served as the Chief Medical Officer of Centurion LLC, a company that provided medical care to inmates incarcerated in several states across the US, including Massachusetts, Florida, Tennessee, and Minnesota.

He and his wife retired from clinical practice in 2021, but he still works (as much or as little as he wants) as a consultant.

He discovered the joys of running in his 60s. He also gardens with his wife, reads a lot, and golfs.

Jeffrey joined the CHC Foundation board in 2024.
