Leslee Martin
Leslee Martin has a Bachelor’s degree from ISU and a Master’s Degree from BSU, both of which are in social work. Leslee worked at various agencies as a social worker, case manager, and clinician from 1992-2021. As a clinician, she worked for the State of Idaho (Region 7 Adult Mental Health and State Hospital South), working directly with individuals living with mental health issues, as well as their families.
In addition to her professional work, she has volunteered for various community agencies, including Hospice of Eastern Idaho, Southeast Idaho AIDS Coalition, Breaking Boundaries, and the Art Museum.
Leslee became a board member for CHCF in 2003, replacing Joan Hahn. Of this experience, she says, “I feel honored to be a part of this amazing foundation which generously grants to nonprofit agencies that are within the area that was served by the former Sacred Heart Hospital (Parkview Hospital). I have been lucky enough to meet with many people and volunteers who work for agencies in our community. These gracious people spend time working to improve our lives in our community through education, the arts, social services, recreation and health.”
She was born and raised in Idaho Falls and feels lucky to call this area her home. She is married and has two children, three step children, two dogs, a cat . . . and last but not least, an amazing granddaughter! She is blessed to be retired and enjoy spending time with her granddaughter, family and friends, entertaining, playing pickleball, gardening, creating art, listening to music, and following true crime podcasts.
