Accessible Playground Gives Every Salmon Student a Chance to Play

The Salmon Pioneer Elementary PTO is a hard-working bunch! Beginning in 2020, they began fundraising to update the school's aging playground equipment and add equipment that was better suited for older elementary-aged kids. They were striving in 2023 to make sure this updated playground included equipment that could be used by students with physical limitations. CHC Foundation was able to provide a grant to help make this possible - and now the equipment has been installed and is ready to go!
