Artificial Turf Improves Lacrosse Experience in Teton Valley

The Teton Valley Youth Lacrosse Association provides opportunities for young athletes to play lacrosse, and in so doing, develop leadership skills, sportsmanship, and self-esteem. The ball wall, located on the rec fields north of Rendezvous Upper Elementary, had been surrounded by natural grass, which often became uneven, muddy, or unplayable due to weather conditions. Maintaining the ground took a significant amount of time, money, and effort.

The TVYLA sought a grant from CHC Foundation to help fund the installation of artificial turf that would improve safety for the players, allow for year-round access to the wall, and reduce maintenance costs. CHCF was delighted to help support this project.
